Who is your favorite writer now?

My favorite writer is Jane Austen. She was a brilliant woman with tons of wit about her. Her novels are well written and I loved every single one of them.brbrI also greatly enjoy Edgar Allen Poe. His works are so odd, so eerie and creepy. Theyre great for rainy days. He was definitely an eccentric and his work intrigues me. It probably wouldnt be defined as quothorrificquot by todays standards, but to me it really is sort of horrific.brbrAnd an Honorable Mention goes to the ever great Oscar Wilde. He was an amazing author, full of cynicism and witty humor. I was hooked after I read his introduction to quotThe Picture of Dorian Gray.quot That book, by the way, was a wonderful read, and I recommend it to anyone and everyone.brbrThe thing in common with all of these authors is that they defied quotnormalcy.quot I absolutely love that about them, and the fact that they were all great writers just adds icing on top of the cake.brbrD
